Dave Johnson is an Animator and Art Director at Microsoft Studios, a graduate of Animation Mentor and the Art Institute of Seattle, and a soon to be graduate of iAnimate. He is an avid Animation film fan, a devoted Father and Husband, an amateur golfer (read: he stinks), a Podcaster, and frankly a bit of a moron. He also enjoys writing short bios about himself in the third person.
Dave's list of game credits include "Homeworld: Cataclysm," "Ground Control," "Kameo: Elements of Power," "Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts," "Viva Pinata," "Alan Wake," "Kinectimals," "Beards and Beaks," and "Toy Soldiers," just to name a few.
Poke around on the site, and feel free to drop Dave a line if you should see fit. He'd love to hear from you!

I feel like one of those belt buckles I hate so much…
I’ve always hated the belt buckles that say things like “Ride to Live / Live to Ride.” I once had a nutritionist at the exercise company I used to work at tell me, “Dave, I don’t live to eat, I … Continue reading

Obstacle Course (WIP)
This is one that has been sitting around for a while now, and I’ll go back from time to time and muck around with it more. The course is actually twice as long as what is shown here, and now … Continue reading

My Thoughts on Toy Story 3
I posted this on my Tumblr page a couple of weeks back, and thought I would share it here as well. Keep in mind that there are spoilers in the piece below, so if you haven’t seen the film yet, … Continue reading

I’m Alone (July 11 Second Club Entry)
Didn’t get this finished in time, but thought I would share. The sync is a bit off, thanks to YouTube, but overall this one is coming along. While the models for the set are ultra-simplistic, I did put some thought … Continue reading
