Dave Johnson is an Animator and Art Director at Microsoft Studios, a graduate of Animation Mentor and the Art Institute of Seattle, and a soon to be graduate of iAnimate. He is an avid Animation film fan, a devoted Father and Husband, an amateur golfer (read: he stinks), a Podcaster, and frankly a bit of a moron. He also enjoys writing short bios about himself in the third person.
Dave's list of game credits include "Homeworld: Cataclysm," "Ground Control," "Kameo: Elements of Power," "Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts," "Viva Pinata," "Alan Wake," "Kinectimals," "Beards and Beaks," and "Toy Soldiers," just to name a few.
Poke around on the site, and feel free to drop Dave a line if you should see fit. He'd love to hear from you!

You Have to Sell Yourself!
At Microsoft Studios, I look at an average of 5-10 resumes/reels each week, and I interview at least a couple of candidates for various positions each month. As a result, I’ve noticed some blunders throughout the years, and thought I’d … Continue reading

Prove Them Wrong
Today I got to thinking about my journey to where I’m at as an Artist. I’d like to preface this by saying that I’ve had MANY supportive people in my life, and I don’t want to make this out to … Continue reading
Lose the Attitude, People
Today at work I had a situation arise that I’ve been confronted with in the past. Different person, same results. It went something like this: 1. Person asked for a “huge favor” for a tight deadline. 2. I delivered a … Continue reading
